Live now: the Wrath of the Dragons launch event
32 creators raced a fresh character to Velgar on 19 Sep (Jagex launch event), and hotfix 1.0.0.4 landed on 18 Sep — no gameplay numbers changed. The endgame reveal: Kuldra, the Dragon Queen. Updated 2026-09-22 · Steam official news.
Crafting Stations — Every Bench & Build Order
Dragonwilds has 11 crafting stations and 13 processing stations, all built through the Construction menu (B). A campfire, a furnace and a Blacksmith’s Bench cover the entire bronze-to-iron stretch — add the rest as their materials enter your loop.

Gear Progression — Tiers by Power Level
Gear runs in four tiers mapped to power levels: Iron (PL 4), Steel (PL 5), Mithril (PL 6) and Adamant (PL 7) — with a mirror leather line for ranged and cloth line for magic. Power level comes entirely from armour, so each tier jump is the progression gate.

Boss Order — Who to Fight When
Fight the world bosses in power level order: Velgar (PL 4) → Imaru (PL 5) → Black Knight Titan (PL 6) → Fuzan (PL 7). Each is unlocked by a quest, not by roaming, and each drops a head plus Ascension Shards that feed the Mystic Forge.

Beginner Guide — What to Do First
Follow the tutorial (Wise Old Man → Doric), keep the food and water meters filled, claim a bed, then Campfire → Furnace → Blacksmith’s Bench. Gathering first — Mining and Woodcutting feed every other skill — and your first real goal is iron-tier armour at Power Level 4 for Velgar.

XP Boosters — Food, Potions & Leveling Pace
Every skill levels through use and caps at 99. The community’s go-to accelerators are XP-boosting food, potions and jewelry — the one part of the meta players call out most — alongside gathering-first routes that keep every skill fed passively.

Magic Guide — Spellbook, Runes & Unlocks
Magic runs on runes: unlock your Spellbook in the tutorial (from Zanik) or by leveling a skill, drag spells into the Spell Wheel (Q), and cast — each spell consumes specific runes made from Rune Essence at a Rune Altar. New spells unlock as their skills level up.

Dedicated Servers — Official Setup & Co-op
Jagex officially supports dedicated servers for Dragonwilds (their help center has a full how-to guide). Dedicated worlds keep your co-op base alive around the clock — the standard answer for groups that can't coordinate online hours.

Resource Locations — What to Gather Where
Ore tiers up by region: copper and tin in the Fractured Plains, iron in the Stormtouched Highlands and Fellhollow, silver in the Bloodblight Swamp, mithril in Dowdun Reach and adamantite in the Umbral Sands. Hides and fibre gather alongside any route.

Base Building — Build Order & Blueprints
Claim a bed first (respawn point), then Campfire → Furnace → Blacksmith's Bench — the bronze age in three builds. Use Ghost Mode (F) to lay free blueprints before committing materials, keep buildings close to the ground for stability, and finish with tannery and spinning wheel so leather and cloth never bottleneck.

Food & Water — Survival Basics
The food and water meters sit in the bottom-left of your screen and drain constantly — eating and drinking regularly is not optional. Campfires, grills and cooking ranges turn Fishing and Farming output into meals, food carries its own power levels, and every boss attempt consumes it.

Combat Guide — Power Level & Weaknesses
Combat runs on three trainable styles (Attack, Magic, Ranged) that level from every fight — but your real defense is armour power level, not skill levels. Check a boss's weakness before you engage (the Titan wants crush or water), stock food, and climb the ladder PL 4 to PL 7.
