Dragonwilds Build Planner
Plan any build before you gather a single log: add pieces from all 459 buildable structures, and the planner totals every material — including the bars, planks and cloth hiding behind them, expanded all the way back to raw ore and fibre.Community report
Your materials plan appears here: direct build costs per piece, plus every raw material after expanding intermediates (bars → ore) — the same engine as the Crafting Calculator.
How the planner works
- 1. Pick a category (beams, stations, furniture, roofs, walls…), then a piece.
- 2. Add it to your build and set the quantity — duplicates allowed.
- 3. The planner lists direct costs per piece and the total raw materials: intermediates like Iron Bars expand back into ore automatically (3 ore per bar).
Deep-dive any material on its own page — recipes, uses and a per-item calculator:browse the Database →
FAQ
- How many buildable pieces are in Dragonwilds?
- 459 across eleven construction categories — from beams and supports to furniture, roofs and walls. Every one of them is in this planner.
- Does the build planner include raw materials?
- Yes — bars, planks and cloth in your build are expanded back into their raw inputs (e.g. Iron Bars into Iron Ore) so the farming list is complete.
- Are the material costs exact?
- Costs come from community-documented build tables (single source, labelled). We never guess numbers — entries upgrade as second sources confirm them.
- What should I build first for a new base?
- Bed first (respawn point), then Campfire → Furnace → Blacksmith’s Bench, then the tannery and spinning wheel lines. The full order is in the crafting stations guide.
