Dragonwilds Boss Order — The Ladder from Velgar to Fuzan

Quick answer

Fight the world bosses in power level order: Velgar (PL 4) → Imaru (PL 5) → Black Knight Titan (PL 6) → Fuzan (PL 7). Each is unlocked by a quest, not by roaming, and each drops a head plus Ascension Shards that feed the Mystic Forge.

The ladder

Four world bosses anchor combat progression, one per story region. Each gate is armour power level — raise the tier before pushing on.

Mini and vault bosses along the way

Open-world mini bosses (Blightscale, Garou King, the dragons and more) and Dragonkin Vault guardians fill the gaps between story fights — Vault 10’s Zogre at Power Level 5 is the best-charted example. Vaults reward blueprints from their treasure chests, so they double as gear-route stops.

After Fuzan

Fuzan’s defeat opens the full Fight Caves activity at The Burning Spire: thirty waves of combat with Fuzan waiting at the end. The winter Luminance update extends the endgame further.

FAQ

Can you skip bosses and fight Fuzan first?
The ladder is gated by armour power level and quest unlocks — the intended order is Velgar through Fuzan, and each quest chains into the next region.
How many bosses are in Dragonwilds?
Four world bosses plus eight mini bosses and eight vault bosses — twenty in total, with the full mini/vault split still being documented.
