Dragonwilds Boss Order — The Ladder from Velgar to Fuzan
Quick answer
Fight the world bosses in power level order: Velgar (PL 4) → Imaru (PL 5) → Black Knight Titan (PL 6) → Fuzan (PL 7). Each is unlocked by a quest, not by roaming, and each drops a head plus Ascension Shards that feed the Mystic Forge.

The ladder
Four world bosses anchor combat progression, one per story region. Each gate is armour power level — raise the tier before pushing on.
| Order | Boss | PL | HP | Unlocked by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Velgar | 4 | 6,000 | Dragon Slayer |
| 2 | Imaru | 5 | 14,000 | Withering Heights |
| 3 | Black Knight Titan | 6 | 14,000 | Black Knight’s Fortress |
| 4 | Fuzan | 7 | 16,000 | Icthlarin’s Little Helper |
Mini and vault bosses along the way
Open-world mini bosses (Blightscale, Garou King, the dragons and more) and Dragonkin Vault guardians fill the gaps between story fights — Vault 10’s Zogre at Power Level 5 is the best-charted example. Vaults reward blueprints from their treasure chests, so they double as gear-route stops.
After Fuzan
Fuzan’s defeat opens the full Fight Caves activity at The Burning Spire: thirty waves of combat with Fuzan waiting at the end. The winter Luminance update extends the endgame further.
FAQ
- Can you skip bosses and fight Fuzan first?
- The ladder is gated by armour power level and quest unlocks — the intended order is Velgar through Fuzan, and each quest chains into the next region.
- How many bosses are in Dragonwilds?
- Four world bosses plus eight mini bosses and eight vault bosses — twenty in total, with the full mini/vault split still being documented.
