- No — each primary quest requires the previous narrative quest. The chain runs Temple Woods → Ghornfell → Fellhollow → Dowdun Reach → Umbral Sands → Scorned Wilderness. Side quests are regional and open as each area unlocks.

- Mostly recurring NPCs: the Wise Old Man (start, Dragon Slayer, Withering Heights), Doric, Vannaka, Zanik and Death — plus world objects like the Umbral Sands door and the Dragon Gate.
- What does Regicide unlock?
- Regicide is 1.0’s primary quest in the Scorned Wilderness — the region added with the full release, where the Dragon Queen Kuldra waits at the end of the content road.
