Death sends you through the Silverthorn Keep gatehouse into the Black Knight fortress. The core task is repairing the Dreaming Stone with thirteen shards scattered across the region — some above ground, three underground (the Crypt shard location is randomized per world).
Bring a steel or undead spade, a steel or mithril pickaxe and a mithril logging axe; the Grand Hall shard needs a maple toastie, which means cooking maple sap into maple syrup (Cooking level 41) or salvaging one from a food salvage spot.
The quest ends with the Black Knight Titan at The Bastion.
